Nikolay Burov appointed director of the museum "St. Isaac's Cathedral"

Former head of the Committee on Culture Petersburg H ikolay Burov appointed director of State Museum and Monument "St. Isaac's Cathedral, told" Interfax "the press service committee.

Morning Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko said at the regular government meeting that H. Burov relieved of his post of chairman of the committee on culture on their own from 2 June. H and his appointed place Gubankov Anton, who until recently headed the information service GTRK "St. Petersburg".

H. Burov will also be an advisor to the governor.

Previous director of the museum complex ikolay H H agorsky died in January 2008. He worked at the post since 2002 and before that was director of the House of Composers, director of the Palace of Culture theater named S. Kirov, deputy director of Museum "Tsarskoye C ate."

Museum "St. Isaac's Cathedral" - is a large museum complex, multifaceted performing research, exhibition and educational and socio-cultural activities. The complex consists of unique architectural monuments: Samp c onievsky, St. Isaac's and Smolny Cathedral, as well as the temple of the Resurrection of Christ (Christ-on-Blood), the church sacristy resurrection of Christ.
