In Malaysia, you can visit the ancient kingdom

Malaysia Travel opportunities are opening new opportunities for travelers. The Ministry of Tourism of the country in the campaign "All gold Malaysia" (One Golden Celebration) has developed a new route. This - journey to the ancient kingdom in the valley Budzhang. Now, this is the territory of modern Kedah state, where splelis into a coherent whole ancient civilization here tribes originally inhabited Malays, Indians, Chinese, Indonesian State Shrividzhayi, Sumerian empire and Western Asia.

There were many kingdoms names: an ancient Indian poet in 2. Mr. e. called it Kalagam or Kadaram; Arab traders in 4. Mr. e. -- Kalha or Cali. The famous Chinese traveler, I-Tsing, who is in 7 in the kingdom. Mr. E., called it Chieh-Cha. In one written in Sanskrit drama the same period, it appeared under the name Katahanagara, in the ancient Malay texts - as Langkasuka.

Today, the once majestic empire remained only temple ruins, literally covering almost the entire territory created here was taken.
By 2008, have been specially trained and are open to visit the archaeological excavations in the territory Budzhang Valley. The largest and significant archaeological finds of the temple is Bukit Batu Pahat (Bukit Batu Pahat), it is assumed that this was the god Shiva shrine.
Slightly smaller temple - Candi Pendiat is located nearby, on its territory were found several bronze tombs, which were precious stones, gold cup and animal figurines made of gold, silver and copper. Another indication that the kingdom was multinational, are the remains of a Hindu temple Pengkalam Budzhang (Candi Pengkalan Bujang), found during the excavation.
